The one negative I will say to that is that even on the basic normal levels, there are certain levels that feel completely unforgiving in the timing. Although there are only 7 levels, each level has varying difficulties to it. The actual gameplay itself consists of you moving left and right between 4 tracks to avoid obstacles to the beat of the music. I found the directional arrows and the keyboard to be most comfortable for the gameplay, and was able to get through a couple of levels. With the controller, I found I could use either the left and right directional arrows or use the bottom and right buttons on the pad. Neon Drive has very simplistic gameplay controls, either using the left and right arrow on a keyboard or using a plug-in controller. Love the 80’s? Love neon lights and retro designs? Love driving around in a cool car to sweet retro wave music? Neon Drive has all of that wrapped into a lovely little bundle in a rhythm based game full of flashing lights, fast cars, and levels, each with their own song and theme to encompass the feel.
